This past weekend was a first for me! Now, I’ve shot two weddings back to back, but this weekend was different. My two weddings were in 2 different states! Neither of them the state I live in! 🙂 First off, I have to say, these two weddings were absolutely beautiful and I would do it all over again! Will & Tania (left) had a beautiful wedding at Daras Garden in Knoxville, TN. Mickey & Anne (right) celebrated their special day in Charlotesville, NC at Holy Comforter Catholic Church and reception at the Omni.
Chris and I left Thursday after he got home from work and drove through to Knoxville! Friday I had shot Will & Tania’s wedding. With only about 5 hours of sleep we headed to Charlottesville where I spent the day with Mickey and Anne! When that was over, I loaded up my gear, headed upstairs and Chris and I spent the night at the Omni! It was glorious knowing I could just sleep! 🙂 Sunday morning we drove to my parents where I had a quick session and then we enjoyed some lunch with them and finally headed home!
My favorite travel buddy! Chris was SO helpful in letting me get some sleep in the car as we drove from one wedding to the other! He was such a trooper! I seriously could not have done this without him!
And a beautiful sunset we saw driving to Knoxville on Thursday – Iphone Photo, don’t judge! 🙂
Some Fun Stats:
- 4 Days, 3 Hotel Nights
- 3 States
- 988 miles
- 15+ hours of driving
- 2 weddings
- 230GB worth of raw images
- 17+ hours of photographing
- 8 rice crispy treats devoured
So there you have it! I seriously would do this all over again! I’ve been blessed with the most fantastic clients and they make weekends like this absolutely worth it!
